Yes, There Will Be Heavy Rain DLC

After you’ve fully digested the interactive drama of Heavy Rain when it comes out on February 16, Sony and developer Quantic Dream are guessing you’ll want more. Heavy Rain will have two portions of downloadable content available after the game’s release, falling under the banner of “Heavy Rain Chronicles.” Both episodes will fill out the back story of Heavy Rain’s characters, though it’s not clear how many hours each additional campaign will last. The first chronicle, entitled “The Taxidermist,” will follow journalist Madison Paige as she investigates a mysterious home. The episode is an expansion and update of a trailer that was shown at the Leipzig Games Convention, which you can see at YouTube.

No word on what will happen in the other episode or when either will be released. But you can get early access to “The Taxidermist” by picking up Heavy Rain’s Collector’s Edition. In addition to a download voucher for the episode, the special edition includes the game’s official soundtrack and a dynamic XMB theme for your Playstation 3’s menu.
