Voice of Mario Working on New, Unnamed Mario Game

Okay, so who put Charles Martinet in charge of rumor mongering at Nintendo? The voice of Mario, Luigi, Wario, Waluigi and so on wrote on his Twitter page that he’s working on a new Mario game, and it’s not New Super Mario Bros. Wii, which is due out in November, nor is it Super Mario Galaxy 2, slated for next year. But, as Martinet says, “it’s going to be crazy fun!” So we have established two things here: First, Nintendo’s got something else up its sleeve, but the possibilities are wide open (My guess is something new for the Nintendo DS). Second, this guy never gets tired of yelling “It’s a me, Mario!” More power to him. [Twitter via Joystiq]
