The World of Warcraft Patch So Epic, It Gets a Trailer
By Jared NewmanUsually, a “patch” implies minor tweaks and bug fixes, but this is World of Warcraft, so you get more for your $15 per month. Patch 3.3.0 is the last update before Blizzard releases World of Warcraft Cataclysm, and it’s a biggie. There are three new five-man dungeons to explore, plus a 10- or 25-man raid on Icecrown Citadel. That means you’ll finally get to face off against the Lich King. Other new features include quest tracking to help players find new objectives and a Cross-Realm Dungeon Finder that quickly locates joinable 5-man parties. For newbies, there’s more introductory information than ever, so hopefully it’ll be easier to get started if you have no idea what I’ve been talking about. For the nitty-gritty of 3.3.0, check out IncGamers’ run-down. Otherwise, behold the trailer for a reminder why you’re forking over that daily fee. [IncGamers via Kotaku]
