The Witcher 2 Screens Features Gorgeous Visuals, Minor Cleavage
By Rothtana OuchWe never could really get into The Witcher’s time-based mouse attacks, but the world of the Witcher offered fans of PC RPGs an alternative to the simple and overused mechanics of mainstream role playing games. CD Projekt has steadily been working on a sequel and have built an entirely new engine for The Witcher 2. To delight of fans everywhere, time-based clicking has moved aside.
Recently released screens show off impressive visuals, gorgeous details and “dark fantasy” imagery. If that isn’t enough to whet your appetite these fresh screens will have to do.
A significant detail about The Witcher 2 is that the developers have designed the game with the idea playing with a controller and developed a UI with couch potatoes in mind. CD Projekt has stated that a console port is in mind, but they are not entirely committed just yet. We’re keeping our fingers crossed.
Several of the screens feature high-res textured models and detailed geometry for the characters. The lighting system simply looks great. Keen readers will also recognize some of the locations have already been featured in a walkthrough by the developers.
Keep an eye out for The Witcher 2, our hero Geralt and his monster slaying silver sword, the game might just be an alternative to Dragon Age II. The Witcher 2 lands May 17 on PC.
