The Mega Man 10 Boss Order, Plus a Free Rant
By Jared Newman
So you’re looking for the order in which to fight bosses in Mega Man 10, which launched this week for the Wii. We’ll get to that. But first, it’s soapbox time: Back in the day, Mega Man boss orders were like a secret. Sure, they were always published in Nintendo Power, and that was inevitably how someone found out about them. But mostly, this stuff traveled by word of mouth. Somehow you got wind of the fact that metal beats bubbles, bubbles beat flash and flash beats quickness, and it became wired into the brain, only to be forgotten after years of modern video games, which — get this — help you figure out what to do.
When I played Mega Man 9, I was torn. Looking up the boss order just seemed cheap, but relying on educated guesses was pointless (hornets thrive underwater, apparently). I toughed it out without looking up the answers, but I yearned for the days where knowledge was magical, not instant. So here’s your Mega Man 10 boss order, courtesy of GameSpy. Now I gotta turn my back on you.
- Sheep Man – Use Mega Buster
- Pump Man – Use Electric Wool
- Solar Man – Use Water Shield
- Chill Man – Use Solar Blaze
- Nitro Man – Use Chill Spike
- Commando Man – Use Wheel Cutter
- Blade Man – Use Commando Bomb
- Strike Man – Use Triple Blade
Have you tried Mega Man 8-Bit Deathmatch? You really ought to.

If you tried this on hard mode you wouldn't get your foot through the door.
Start on strike man first for all three modes!

No way, Strike Man is harder than some of the others. I'd say Pump Man is probably the easiest, since he doesn't have much of a pattern and you can just weapon spam through his shield. Sheep Man isn't too bad, either, but he can be annoying depending on the cloud spread where Pump Man is more predictable.

IMO Commando Man was the easiest.

starting with commando man is how I do it. Getting the 'non-elemental' weapons first will allow you to go through the game with more ease due to their non offensive secondary uses. If you can beat Nitro man first, I can almost guarantee a faster clear time

This is how I am currently fighting them:
Nitro Man
Strike Man
Commando Man
Blade Man..
still working on the rest.
