Tetris Rules Mobile Gaming With 100 Million Sales

Capitalizing on humans’ desire to make things fit into other things, Tetris is officially the most popular mobile game of all time, with 100 million sales. Alexey Pajitnov’s creation is more than 25 years old and is available in 60 countries on roughly 64,000 handsets,the Associated Press reports. And thats just paid downloads to mobile phones. Never mind all that time you spent playing Tetris on Nintendo’s Game Boy (35 million units, per the official Tetris Web site), or on your TI-83 graphing calculator when you should have been paying attention in calculus (or maybe that was just me).
Meanwhile, PC World turns us on to a prayer from the Church of Tetris:
Oh, Tetris, thy Glory great,
Give us today our daily blocks,
So that we may clear them.
And give us strength,
Through our gaps and mistakes,
To obtain a tetris.
