Tali returns in new Mass Effect 2 Screenshots

Tali was not one of the characters that your character could hump in Mass Effect, and for good reason: No one knows what’s going on under that mask, and she was always too busy talking about her home flotilla to be bothered with the pursuit of love. But Tali’s good people, and she’ll be back in Mass Effect 2, as evidenced by some new screenshots we’re seeing. There’s also a video introducing Tali on Mass Effect’s media page, in which we can see that she’s in a bit of trouble.

In the video, Tali’s race of quarian people ask Captain Shepard if he has any new evidence in “this hearing,” to which Shepard notes that Tali helped defeat the first game’s main villain. Regardless, it appears Tali is found guilty of treason and sentenced to exile. We know that Mass Effect 2 will make use of actions taken in the first game, and Mass Effect players had the option to help Tali with an important mission for her people during an optional side quest, but it’s not known whether an event this small will carry over to the next game.
