Stuff for Rich Gamers: $17,300 Beatles Rock Band Xbox 360

While most limited edition game consoles struck us as somewhat excessive, we can get down to the $17,300 The Beatles: Rock Band Xbox 360 because the proceeds go to charity. Microsoft announced that a 10-day online auction for the console drew 110 bids, with the money going to Doctors Without Borders. To put it in perspective, DWB can perform 86,500 immunizations, or purchase emergency kits for 2,800 people in the 15 days following a disaster. Should you like to contribute to such a cause, but you don’t have particularly deep pockets, download “All You Need is Love” as a playable track for The Beatles: Rock Band, and all the proceeds go to charity there as well.
