PS3 Gets God of War Blu-ray Compilation, With Trophies

Like God of War? Like paying for the same game twice because you can’t play it on your newest console? You just hit the jackpot. Reportedly responding to fan requests to bring the first two God of War games to the Playstation 3, Sony announced that both will be sold on one Blu-ray compilation disc. To sweeten the deal, God of War and God of War II will be playable in 720p HD at 1280 x 720 resolution, with anti-aliased graphics running at 60 frames per second. If you favor gameplay over visuals, Sony has you covered with support for trophies. The God of War Collection will arrive this holiday season for $40, tiding fans over until next year’s God of War III. Sony’s not mentioning plans for a big bundle, but it’d sure be nice.
