Plug Time: GamerCrave Gets Sexual With Big Red Potion

The folks at Big Red Potion were kind enough to bring me back on their podcast last Sunday, along with GayGamer.net editor Flynn DeMarco, to talk about sexuality in video games. Among other things, we talked about the gay romance scene in Dragon Age: Origins, whether the media reaction has cooled since Bully’s boy-to-boy kiss sparked a controversy, whether linear (read: non-RPG) games will always feature straight main characters and, of course, why all of our hopes for the mature portrayal of relationships in video games are pinned on Heavy Rain. Flynn also patted us mainstream game writers on the back for tackling these issues, which was nice of him.
