Play the Crackdown 2 Demo Today
By Benjamin Opal
If you’ve got an Xbox 360 and want a taste of E3, put the Crackdown 2 demo in your queue. The open-world game, in which you fight crime as a superhuman Agent, was on the show floor last week, and went online to the masses today.
The Crackdown 2 demo has a couple extra features that are worth noting. Gamers who are stuck at work can get started with a related Facebook game, Chucks Ducks 2; playing it unlocks a new difficulty in the Crackdown 2 demo, and it also allows players to accumulate Quackers, a type of sticky-bomb that you can find in the retail version. These Quackers can then be used in Crackdown’s multiplayer once the game launches on July 8.
For those who are anti-Facebook, playing the Crackdown demo will still allow you to turn achievements, which will be unlocked if you then play the retail version. If you’re an achievement hoarder with a GameFly subscription, this can work out nicely in your favor. [via Kotaku]
