With a near official confirmation of a next-generation Nintendo console looming, more evidence is mounting to a new console format war with a price cut to the original Wii system due this Monday on May 15. The price cut will drop the price of the original Wii from $199.99 to $169.99, which is pretty close to what we’ve been hearing about previously. It will also make the way for Nintendo’s next system. The Grand Theft Auto franchise continues to impress us, and with the last major release arguably the strongest the franchise has ever seen, well, needless to say we are anxiously awaiting any bit of news about a possible fifth game in the series.
