Looks like OnLive’s trying to keep the buzz going for its upcoming cloud gaming service, releasing a half dozen photos and a couple videos what offer a peek at the user interface. OnLive, announced last March, has the lofty goal of revolutionizing the video game industry. By doing all the high-end processing of computer games on its own servers and sending compressed video back to the player, OnLive claims that even the most demanding games will play flawlessly on any computer, even low-powered netbooks. The videos are posted on Facebook (here and here), and photos are after the jump.

What we’re looking at here is the controller and optional TV set-top box for OnLive. Without the box, you can still play through any computer, but this will let you enjoy the service on a television. As you can see, the controller’s shape and button layout is pretty similar to that of the Xbox 360, with the misaligned thumbsticks and combination of bumpers and triggers on top. Should make for a familiar experience, but I’m still wondering how much this’ll cost. OnLive has only said the service will be a combination of base subscription and additional purchases, but has kept silent on pricing. It’s scheduled for release in Winter 2009. [via OnLive Fans]
