Oh, and Beyoncé Wants in on Video Games, Too

Beyoncé is now among the glut of music stars suddenly awakened to the fact that, yes, people play video games. And she wants to get in on the craze with a game of her own. According to SpiceZee, the pop singer said she’d like to appear in some sort of Wii exercise game that incorporates dance and performance, geared towards women. “I think it would be a great idea to incorporate choreography, because, for me, my workout is way more fun when it involves dancing, as opposed to running on a boring treadmill,” Beyoncé said. And you know what? Good for her. I’m tired of musicians spouting that line about how music games are all about connecting with fans (i.e. making money).
