New Crysis 2 Gameplay Video Looks…Amazing
By Joseph Oliveto
Crysis 2 will be released soon–on March 22, to be exact–and everything we’ve seen from this game so far looks mighty encouraging. The visuals are impressive, early reviews are positive, and well, it’s another Crysis game, which is simply good news in general.
On top of that, about three minutes of gameplay footage have just been released, in case we weren’t excited enough. Take a look to see what you’re in store for…
The video, which depicts PC gameplay, shows a daylight shootout in an abandoned NYC that looks eerily similar to the city itself. That kind of attention to detail is remarkable; plenty of games claim to take place in real-world locales, but rarely do they resemble them so closely. For those of us who are familiar with this particular urban landscape, the game will have an additional level of allure that most titles simply don’t possess.
On top of that, the action looks like it will make for some fun gameplay, epmploying traditional shooter elements while still delivering a unique video game experience via such features as a cloaking mechanism futuristic weaponry. We can’t wait to test this one out for ourselves.
Take a look at the video to see what we mean…
Well, what did you think? Does this get you as excited as it got us, or are you skeptical about the game? Let us know in the comments!
