Never Seen Video Games Live? Watch on PBS This Weekend

The 90-minute show, taped in New Orleans with the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra, starts airing this evening at PBS stations around the country. Video Games Live combines rock and orchestral takes on modern and classic video game movies. There are plenty of clips you can watch on YouTube, but the trailer above should give you a good idea of how it works. There’s even a quote from actress Jamie Lee Curtis talking about how all the colorful imagery and orchestral music you see in Avatar was already done years ago by World of Warcraft. Random!
