Mass Effect 2′s Amusing Hidden Dialog

Somehow, someone managed to bring the whole gang of Mass Effect 2 characters to the quarantine zone on planet Omega, in a pretty early portion of the game. As you know, Mass Effect 2 requires you to recruit fighters from around the galaxy in order to defeat the Collectors, a mysterious alien race that’s snatching up human colonies. In one of the earlier recruitment missions, you enter a quarantine zone plagued by an illness to which humans are immune. Though it’s possible to recruit a couple aliens — Garrus and Grunt — beforehand, Samara, Tali, Legion and Thane are all locked until well after this segment of the game. I’m not sure how YouTube user jjock33 figured out a way around this, but if you’re a Mass Effect 2 junkie, this should be amusing. [YouTube via Reddit]
