If you remember in the PS1 days, FFVII was four discs. You never had to swap them when you went to different parts of the world. Rather, it was the story and questlines that changed. I also wouldn't be surprised if they had the option to install disk two to the hard drive and just run with the first disk like Forza 3 has you do.
