I don’t know what’s more amazing, that a man in Mumbai, India played Grand Theft Auto IV for hours hours straight, or that he claims to have enjoyed the experience. Chirantan Patnaik, a 26-year-old private equity broker, set a record in the Guinness Book for his extended GTAIV play, topping the previous attempt by 12 hours. Patnaik started playing at 10 a.m. on September 4, and gave it a rest at 2 a.m. September 6, with just four breaks the entire time. Before that, he trained, doing yoga and exercising. And they say video gaming is a sedentary activity! Says Patnaik: “I enjoyed the game very much. It’s fun playing long hours. It wasn’t that exhaustive for me, as one might feel.” Even with all those annoying calls from your in-game friends and accomplices? I’m impressed. [ZeeNews via Kotaku]
