Magic: The Gathering Tactics to PC and PS3 in 2010

Have you recently participated in a vitriolic discussion on when one can or can’t perform an interrupt? When you hear “tapping,” do you not think of asses or beer? If so, head over to the Magic: The Gathering Tactics website to check out the trailer for the freshly announced game based on the collectible trading card game. Developed by Sony Online Entertainment Denver, the game promises to show “Magic in a new dimension,” which refers to the third. Aside from polygons, the game also promises online multiplayer, expansion content (read: digital cards you’ll probably have to buy), tournaments, rankings, and stories from the Planeswalkers setting. The game is promised for PC in early 2010, with a PlayStation 3 version to follow later in the year, and PC beta sign-ups coming soon to the website.
