Normally, I’d like to play a cool indie game before telling you about it (see: Time Fkuc), but there’s no way I’m going near lose/lose. The experimental game by Zack Gage is a pretty straightforward space shooter, except that every alien is associated with a file on your computer. Blast the alien, and that file is gone forever, seriously. The game continues until your fighter ship is destroyed, at which point the application deletes itself. Or, presumably, skilled players could keep going until their computers become paperweights. Fortunately, you don’t have to actually play lose/lose to get the message, that life is not trivial, even in a video game, and neither is our virtual data. Download at your own risk, video after the jump.
