Halo: Reach Achievements Reveal Little, Spoil Nothing
By Jared Newman
Hand it to Bungie for their new plan to prevent leaked lists of Halo: Reach Achievements. Starting now, they’re just going to beat the hackers by leaking the achievements first. So now we’ve got a list of six Halo: Reach achievements that don’t tell you anything about the game that you weren’t already aware of. For instance, from this list we can deduce that Halo: Reach has (a) legendary difficulty (b) Banshees (c) matchmaking (d) daily multiplayer challenges (e) items you can buy from the Armory and (f) the ability to break a fatal fall by assassinating an Elite at the bottom. Okay, that last one is kind of cool. Full details after the jump.
To Wit:
- A Monument to All Your Sins – Complete each Campaign Mission on Legendary – alone.
- Banshees, Fast and Low – Hijack a Banshee during the Reach Campaign.
- Yes, Sensei – Earn a First Strike Medal in a Matchmaking game.
- A New Challenger – Complete all of the Daily Challenges in a given day.
- Make It Rain – Purchase an item from the Armory that requires the rank of Lt. Colonel.
- If They Came to Hear Me Beg – Perform an Assassination against an Elite to survive a fall that would’ve been fatal.
Halo: Reach will have 49 achievements arranged like so: Campaign (23), Firefight (7), Multiplayer (4), Training (6) and Player Experience (9). But I won’t be writing more about them unless somebody leaks the whole darned list, to Bungie’s dismay. [Bungie via Joystiq]
