Grand Theft Auto IV DLC Coming to PS3 … Not.

We love a good rumor, especially when it relates to the console wars. The latest had downloadable content for Grand Theft Auto IV coming to the Playstation 3, according to a post from an Official Playstation Community Mod. The moderator had apparently spotted The Lost and the Damned in an 18+ Playstation 3 area at GamesCom, but the whole thing turned out to be a misunderstanding. It seems the video reel for the game was simply placed in an unfortunate position, near the Playstation 3 section, but not actually in it. Furthermore, a Rockstar representative roundly spanked the rumor, telling VG247 that both The Lost and the Damned and The Ballad of Gay Tony are exclusive to the Xbox 360.
