Google Pac-Man is Free Forever

Google granted our wish to make its Pac-Man Google Doodle free forever. You’ll find it at google.com/pacman, complete with the ability to press “Insert Coin” twice for simultaneous play as Pac-Man and Ms. Pac-Man. Google and Namco teamed up to create the doodle for Pac-Man’s 30th birthday, bringing productivity at the end of last work week. It looks like Google made one tweak since Friday: If you go to the Pac-Man page, the game still auto-starts after a few seconds, but doesn’t make any sound until you hit the controls. So feel free to set the Pac-Man page as your Google homepage, and try to resist the temptation to fire up a quick game at work.
