For Christmas, A Demon’s Souls Pure White Tendency Event

Our commenters were spot-on about Sony’s hints of a Demon’s Souls holiday gift, as all players will soon experience Pure White tendency for a full week. Starting at noon Pacific time on Monday, December 21 and lasting until the same time on December 28, the foes of Boletaria will be a little bit easier to defeat, but they’ll have the worst drops and yield the least souls. More importantly, Pure White tendency will allow you to access items that are otherwise unattainable. Highlights after the jump.

Per the life-saving Demon’s Souls Wiki:

In 1-1, you can get a Colorless Demon’s Soul and Brushwood armor from a now-unlocked door near the left of the starting point. Body Form Miralda, hiding to the right inside the stairwell building, has the Master’s Ring and Binded set. In 2-3, get the Keel Smasher from the left path, whose debris is now cleared. Now, in 3-2, you’ll want to climb the first chain tower, where the path was once blocked, and get the Prison of Hope Cell 2F W key, which you can use to free Rydell. He’ll give you the Dull Rat’s Ring. In 4-2, go to the room where Patches knocks you down, and grab the Magic Sword “Makoto.” In 5-2, speak to Salen Vinland, who gives you the Ring of Devout Prayer if you retrieve the Crest of Vinland from black phantom Carl Vinland in 5.3.
