Final Fantasy XIII Will Arrive in the Spring, Hopefully
By Benjamin Opal
Given Final Fantasy’s track record of showing up unfashionably late to Western countries, you may not care that Final Fantasy XIII has a Japanese release date of December 17. So here’s something to chew on: The game will probably, or at least hopefully, arrive in the United States and elsewhere in the spring. That’s at least according to Square Enix head Yoichi Wada, who says the company is trying to break with its tradition of taking a half year to a year to Westernize its most popular RPG franchise, slated this time for Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. Of course, December until June, when spring ends, is still six months. Be patient. [via Kotaku]
