Final Fantasy XIII Released Early Overseas, Screenshots Leak

Final Fantasy XIII comes out in Japan on Thursday, and in the United States in March, but some stores have already broken the Japanese street date. The result? Lots of new, unofficial, totally not airbrushed Final Fantasy XIII screenshots from early in the game, via the Unofficial Final Fantasy Site. Normally we’d let this kind of thing slide, but we know Final Fantasy breeds a special kind of excitement, so read on the for the motherload. No word on whether these screenshots are from the Xbox 360 or the reportedly graphically superior Playstation 3 version. Also, if you’re outside of Japan and cannot wait for the game, Play-Asia will be exporting the Playstation 3 version, without region protection, for $100 starting Thursday. [via UFF Site]

There're all from the PS3 version which comes out exclusively for the PS3 in Japan this week. The western version, which includes the Xbox 360 doesn't come out until March.
