Fantastic Four Play in Donkey Kong’s World

Let’s start the day with a winning mashup of Donkey Kong and Fantastic Four. I think it would’ve been better if artist Anthony Vukojevich opted for the final level, but this is understandable as Donkey Kong’s series of ramped red floors is more iconic. There are some nice touches here, like the “insert 12 cent coin” in place of the original’s price, and the props to late artist Jack Kirby, who designed the cover with Marvel production manager Sol Brodsky. I wish we could find out a little more about Vukojevich and his inspiration for the piece, but alas, his Web site is down. You can view the full-size art here. [Covered via Albotas]
