EA: No PS3 Mass Effect 2 For You

Some of the rumors you  may have heard about Mass Effect 2 coming to the Playstation 3 are null and void, according to Electronic Arts. The space action RPG was listed as a PS3 release by Australian retailer Game and on EA’s Russian Web site, but the publisher told Eurogamer that the latter of those listings is bogus. Same goes for an EA Russia listing for Left 4 Dead 2 on the PS3. Now, that still leaves Game’s listing, which stands as of this post. And if you read between the lines, EA hasn’t specifically denied that Mass Effect 2 is coming to the PS3, just that the listing itself was an error.  It’s still unlikely, given that Mass Effect 2 draws on save data from the first game (also an Xbox 360 exclusive), but I’ve got my fingers crossed for the Sony fanboys.
