Dark Angel: Dude Gets 250,000 Frags in Quake Live
By Benjamin Opal

Some people are just better at video games than you, such as Trajan, who became Quake Live’s first Dark Angel by scoring 250,000 frags. Yeah, he basically had his own personal genocide within the confines of Quake Live’s free, virtual stomping ground. Trajan’s profile shows that he started playing on March 8, 2009, and pwned his 250,000th noob on January 5, 2010. That’s 822 kills per day.
Today, Bethesda posted an interview with the grizzled veteran. Of course, he cut his teeth on Quake II, and then Quake III Arena, and I’m guessing very little else. He tends to favor Logitech gear and uses a Razer Goliathus track pad. Trying to get 250,000 Quake Live frags yourself? Here’s a tip from Trajan to help you master the circle strafe:
In a practice game, fire at a wall from close-range or about the middle distance, strafe left and right randomly, moving the mouse as necessary to keep the impact marks in the cross-hairs. Note down the sensitivity used, and then do the same thing twice over, once with the sensitivity set a fraction higher, then a fraction lower. If you find the original was a bit off, adjust the sensitivity to whatever seems smooth yet accurate and repeat the steps again.
If that fails, just whine about how the other player must be cheating, or has no life. Seems to work in most games. [Bethesda via Reddit]

To quote South Park. How do you kill something that has no life?
