Madden 12 is currently in the works at EA, and the folks in charge have decided to make things a little interesting for gamers this time around by allowing them to decide which athlete’s face will grace the cover of this edition of the game, according to IGN. Sony swears that Gran Turismo 5 will be released this holiday season, but what would the launch be without one more delay to a date unknown? At E3, Sony pegged a November 2 release date for Gran Turismo 5. After years of push-backs, and an announcement in January that the game would be delayed indefinitely, the firm date was exciting news. And now it’s been erased.

Halo: Reach was released today, and if you’ve got an Xbox 360 I’m guessing you’ve already scoured the web for reviews and decided whether it’s worth your $60. Either that, or you were one of the many who threw caution to the wind and showed up at your local video game store for Halo: Reach’s midnight launch. Since I was not one of those people, I thought it’d be fun to round up some of the more notable reports from the ground.
