Can’t Find Borderlands? You’re Not Alone
By Benjamin Opal
A game that has supposedly been “sent to die” according to industry analyst Michael Pachter is actually doing quite well. So well, in fact, that supply for the first-person shooter and RPG hybrid is outstripping demand in some places. Gearbox’s Steve Gibson confirmed to Joystiq that supply shortages are happening on the east coast, particularly with the Xbox 360 version of the game. Gibson said distribution has been ramped up, and the problem should be alleviated by Thursday or Friday. There are also some shortages of the Playstation 3 version on the west coast, but Gibson says those are “mostly regional and can be addressed by reallocation,” which should happen quickly. Better than dying on the side of a wasteland road. [via Joystiq]
