Hi Gary,

Thanks for your comments. The goal of the piece was to look well-known minority video game characters and the discussion around them, not necessarily to come up with a representative sample of minority characters (we’ve already established that the sample is not representative anyway).

Instead of flinging mud, why not contribute to the discussion? Can you name some major characters that we missed?

why is it only racist if it is a black character? Talk about under representation, at least 6 of those characters were black. The racism is that there are that many to begin with.
