Borderlands Online Bugs Duly Noted, Says Gearbox

Losing your skills and weapons proficiencies after playing Borderlands online? Gearbox has an answer that may or may not calm your bug-ridden mind: “Your report has been heard and we’re working on it,” says Gearbox employee SteveJ. “Unfortunately there isn’t a fix just yet, but when one is available we hope to be able to repair as much of your character data as possible.” The problem, which affects the Playstation 3, Xbox 360 and PC versions of the game, causes some players to lose all of their characters’ progress, including skill points and weapon proficiency. Because Borderlands seamlessly blends single player and multiplayer, you’re definitely missing out by playing offline, so what do you do? Sit on your hands and wait for a patch, I guess. [via 1UP]
