Battlestar Galactica Online MMO Trailer Promises Hot Man-on-Cylon Action, Space Battles

How much Battlestar Galactica is too much Battlestar Galactica? Bigpoint and NBC are hoping the answer to that question is ‘there’s no such thing.’ The pair just released a trailer for the upcoming MMO Battlestar Galactica Online, which can be seen at Pixelated Geek. It’s certainly impressive, delivering the same shaky camera work and orchestral chanting the series is known for. But if you’re looking for gameplay, you’re in for a disappointment.
Unfortunately, the trailer is strictly composed of cinematics. It’s definitely worth a look, though. I mean, it’s giant space ships blowing the crap out of other giant space ships. Hopefully the game will be as fun to play as the trailer is to watch. It also alludes to the ability to play both sides of the conflict. I’m praying for an awkward robot dancing mini-game for the Cylon side.
