Here’s a Trailer for Avatar: The Game, In-Game

Check the disclaimer at the start of the Avatar: The Game footage above: “The Following is In-Game Footage.” Not that there’s a done of gameplay, per se, but you can get a pretty good sense of what the game based on James Cameron’s upcoming movie will look like. Sadly, you can’t watch it in stereoscopic 3-D. The main thing to focus on here is art direction, and I really like the detail on the creatures and vehicles that Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 gamers are in store for when the game drops this November. Do I detect a bit of generic third-person shooter in the tiny snippets of over-the-shoulder action we see here? Maybe, but we’ll have to wait for more footage to know for sure.
