2K Sports Puts LeBron in a Heat Jersey, Gives Him Weird, Scary Leg

Fear not, Cavs fans, LeBron James may have scorned you for the Miami Heat, but the move seems to have negatively impacted his health, as seen in this screenshot from NBA 2K11. The basketball superstar, donned in a Heat jersey for the first time, appears to have come down with a serious case of the chicken legs. Or maybe the curse bestowed by the Cavs’ majority owner Dan Gilbert is worse than expected. Or whoever did this computer model needs disciplinary action.

Yahoo Games got the screenshot, and talked to 2K Sports Vice president of Sport Development, Jeff Thomas about how James’ move to Miami would affect the (video) game. The answer has more filler than ESPN’s “The Decision” TV special:

“It’s exciting to see all the player movement, but it’s too early to tell how Lebron’s move will play out with team rankings in NBA 2K11. The Heat will definitely be improved, but obviously this year’s rankings will reflect all the changes happening this summer.”
